RIB had a net profit of 3.246 million lei in 2007. The lender ran total assets of 472.65 million lei at the end of last year, down 5.5 percent over the end of 2007, when assets amounted to 500.04 million lei.

RIB's own capitals inched slightly in 2008, from 52.57 million lei to 52.76 million lei. Once the profit plunged, the capitals became less gainful.
The financial results are calculated according to Romanian accountancy standards, the lender mentioned.

Romanian International Bank activates on the local market since 1998 and operates through 33 offices, out of which 14 in Bucharest. The lender was taken over by Daniel Kendrick Roberts in May 2002, who acquired 99.98 percent of the shares.
