Parliament approves new members of central bank�s board

The two chambers of the Parliament have approved today, with 251 votes for and 42 against, the new members of the board of National Bank of Romania for a new five-year term. Mugur Isarescu remained the Chairperson of the Board, and Governor of the central bank. The new members of the NBR Board are Bogdan Olteanu, Dinu Marin and Nicolae Danila.

Cristian Popa – Member of the Board and Deputy Governor of NBR

Virgil Stoenescu – Member of the Board

Agnes Nagy – Member of the Board

Napoleon Pop – Member of the Board.
