Customers who subscribe by the end of the year will pay 20% less, and those who subscribe both to the voice and ADSL (asymmetric digital subscriber line) services will benefit of voice subscriptions at a 30% lower price, starting from €4.9 (VAT not included).

“According to the conclusions of the most recent research, clients seek free calling offers and lower subscription rates, even lower if the package comes with a broadband internet connectivity, so we defined new subscriptions to meet those demands. Maintaining the same rates for the new subscriptions, we added discounts of up to 30% for the monthly rate and hundreds of free minutes to mobile or international lines”, said Joerg Zeddies, commercial executive director of Romtelecom.

Discounts offered by Romtelecom come after a sharp first-half decline in revenues from landline subscriptions, from €201.5 million from €233.4mln last year, while revenues from television and internet services increased from €156.2 million to €161.2 million.
