The central bank yesterday posted an official level of 4.2967 lei per euro.

The national currency edged up from 4.3030 to 4.2960 versus the euro after early trades and then slipped to 4.30.

In the region, the zloty climbed from 4.1340 to 4.1060 per euro and then traded between 4.1060 and 4.1240, while the forint gained from 270.80 to 269 and then held steady at this level.

For the U.S. dollar, NBR’s exchange rate rose 0.51 percent to 2.8893 lei per dollar, from 2.8747 in the previous session.
