NBR indicated an oficial level of 4.2978 lei per euro in the previous session.

The leu fell from 4.29 to 4.2980 versus the euro in the morning and at 1:05 p.m. banks were buying a euro with 4.2928 lei and selling it for 4.3018 lei.

In the region, the Polish zloty dropped from 4.0850 to 4.1115 per euro, while the Hungarian forint gained from 268.5 to 267.49 versus the euro and then came back at 268, NewsIn informs.

For the U.S. dollar, NBR’s exchange rate dropped 0.6 percent to 2.8719 lei per dollar, from 2.8893 in the previous session.
