The new 2,000sqm Flanco World unit will become the flagship store of the chain, and provides the company the opportunity to relocate its Baneasa store in a location with more walk-by traffic.

The company will close its Baneasa store this week.

“We expect more walk-by traffic in Sun Plaza since it’s a residential area whose potential isn’t fully realized,” said Adrian Olteanu, deputy managing director Flanco International.

Flanco International is one of the largest electronics and home appliance retailer in Romania. The company operates two of the best known retail chains in the country, Flanco and Flanco World. Its network includes 70 stores across the country’s most important commercial areas.
