EUR/RON exchange rates rose today from 4.09 to 4.1045, as other currencies in the region followed a similar trend against euro.
The National Bank of Romania set a reference rate of 4.1007 lei/euro, 0.17% above yesterday’s level of 4.0939 lei/euro.
In the region the Polish zloty fell from 3.8673 units versus euro to 3.9033, but partially recouped the loss at noon and rose to 3.8797. The Hungarian forint fell in the morning from 265.57 to 268.18 units/euro, but grew afterwards to 267.23 forints/euro.
For the US dollar, the central bank set a reference rate of 3.0210 lei/dollar, up 0.68% from Monday’s rate of 3.0007 lei/dollar.
