Skoda Octavia Tour 1,000 euro discount

Octavia Tour is the eight best selling car in Romania, with 1,729 cars sold in Jan-Jul 2009, 58.6% fewer than in 2008.

The discount on an Octavia Tour ranges between 900 euros and 1,000 euros.

Octavia Tour 1.6 MPI 102 HP has a starting price of 12,080 euros, while 1.9TDI 101HP variant is available starting from 13,291 euros.

Skoda Octavia 1,265 euro discount

The price of a new Octavia sedan is now 1,089 euros – 1,265 euros cheaper than its showroom price.

The new Octavia Drive 1.6MPI/102 HP is priced at 14,474 (discount included) while Octavia Drive 1.9 TDI/105 HP is priced at 15,925 euros (discount included).

Skoda Octavia is the seventh best-selling car in Romania, with 1,970 cars sold in Jan-Jul 2009, 68.7% fewer than year-ago period.

Renault Megane 1,400 euro discount

The new Megane Bicorp family was officially unveiled in April. The car comes in a choice of three power outputs and three equipment versions.

The carmaker slashed Megane’s prices by 1,400 euros, applied to any of its power output or equipment version.

The current car price is 12,900 euros instead of 14,300 euros.

The car comes in petrol (1.6 16V 110 HP and two turbo diesel CommonRail, 1.5 dCi 105 HP and 1,9 dCi 130 HP). In all power output versions the gearbox is manual and in six speeds.

Renault Megane is the tenth best selling car in Romania year-to-date, with 1,524 cars sold, 65% fewer than in 2008.

Renault Clio 1,700 euro discount

Renault Romania, importer of the French car, rolled out the new Clio in Romania. The discount applied to Clio is 1,700 euros.

The entry price for a Clio was 10.700 euros for Authentique version 1.2 16V 75 HP. The petrol-engined range includes 1.2 16V 75 HP; 1.4 16V 100 HP and 1.6 16V 110 HP, while the diesel lineup comprises 1.5 dCi 70 HP and 1.5 dCi 85 HP versions.

Jan-Jul statistics show Clio was the best selling new passenger car in Romania, with 3,440 units sold, but 54% fewer than year-ago period.

Ford Focus 2,023 euros

Ford Focus, car launched in March 2008 in Romania, is now 2,023 euros cheaper.

The Ford Focus 1.8 TDCi 115 HP, in four and five-door version has a price 2,023 euros lower than the showroom price. The starting price, discount included is thus 14,827 euros for the five-door model and 15,243 euros for the four-door model.

Ford Focus is the third best selling car in Romania after first seven months, with 61% decline in sales from year-ago period.

Kia Ceed 2,829 euro discount

The five-door version of Kia Cee’d enjoys discounts ranging from 595 euros and 2,829 euros.

The 2,829 euro discount is applied for the Style 2.0liter version, available at a starting price of 15,606 euros.

The 1.4liter 109HP Best version is priced at 11,259 euros with a discount of 595 euros.

Kia Cee’d s the second best selling car in Romania with 3,228 units sold in first seven months, 28% fewer than year-ago period.
