This year’s edition of PR Award handed 11 awards to PR agencies, in eight contest categories. Vitrina Advertising won Golden Award for Excellence for “Biggest mall in Romania” campaign, created for Iulius Mall. Rogalski Grigoriu PR won silver for “One Christmas tree for all Romanians” campaign, same as McCann PR for “Campaign against TV piracy”, and Editura Curtea Veche for “Everybody comes to Pamuk” campaign.
Saatchi &Saatchi won the only golden award at “Communication for risk management and opportunities” category for “Crisis management: shut down of Bunge Interoil and Unirea Iasi units” campaign.
Lowe Public Relations and Unilever South Central Europe won a Golden Award for Excellence in “PR for Marketing” category for Rexona campaign. Same award was won by Rogalski Grigoriu PR for “Baneasa Shopping City – most expected fashion mall in Romania”.
Silver winner for the same category were McCann PR for “Bookfest 2008” campaign, Pleon Grafitti for “Pepsi Light: Dani, come home after the game” and Grey Romania for “Unveiling Cosmopolis, the first European city in Romania” – Opus Land Development.
The Practice won golden statue for “Family– rebranding campaign of Domenia Credit, Morotactive Leasing and Estima Finance as GE Money” at “Internal Communication” category.
Tempo Advertising and Rogalski Grigoriu PR won silver statues for “Tempo upgrading” together with Ogilvy Group for “What’s best in us” (Petrom) at the same category.
