Secom sold dietary supplements of 1.3 million euros in H1

Secom, importer of dietary supplements reported a double turnover from year-ago period, up to 1.3 million euros . For the entire year, the company projected a 100% increase in turnover, from 1.7 million euros in 2008.

“The good performance is largely due to the high investments made in logistics and to the increase in specialized staff members. We haven’t overlooked marketing and promotion of our products to end-consumer”, said Andrei Costea, managing director of the company.

Secom operates in the industry of natural remedies, and supplements. It is the sole importer of nine natural remedies brands renowned worldwide, products that cover a wide range of diseases.

For 2009, Secom, with a headcount of 15 aims at keeping its leading position in the import of natural remedies that are original, unique and subjected to intensive medical research, investing brand awareness, especially through their medical representatives, as well as establishing a headquarter, reads a press release remitted by the company.

Semcom was founded in 1991. Since 1997, the vicinity of Central Military Hospital has determined the company to change profile and to sell natural remedies, one of the first of its kind in Bucharest.
