A year of crisis in review: FMCG companies' cost-containment measures

Companies have shifted from things that were simply “nice to have” to those that are “must-haves”. This is one of the aspects underlying FMCG companies’ cost-containment measures that have implemented as a response to an economy that took a turn for the worse last year. FMCG managers interviewed by Wall-Street say these cost-cutting measures have been put in place to keep the business afloat amid recessionary times.
