Orange and RIM bring the new BlackBerry Curve 8520 in Romania

After the promotional period dedicated to the telecommunication carrier’s online customers, the terminal will be available in all Orange shops.

The new BlackBerry Curve 8520 provides easy mobile access to e-mail, messaging and popular social networking sites (such as Facebook and MySpace) and features full-QUERTY keyboard for accurate and comfortable typing.

It also features rich multimedia capabilities and easy access to music, games and other mobile applications.

The BlackBerry Curve 8520 is operational in Orange Romania’s EDGE network and features Wi-Fi port to provide fast web browsing and extended coverage for data sharing.

The smartphone also has a touch-sensitive trackpad that enables more efficient scrolling and selection. It is also the first BlackBerry smartphone with dedicated media keys integrated along the top of the handset, offering an easy way to manage music and video files.

Apart from the standard accessories of BlackBerry Curve 8520, Orange offers a practical BlackBerry case in various color options, adapted to the clients’ new smartphones.

“Widespread services , such as internet, and mobile e-mail, multimedia entertainment as well as access to social networking sites are now easier to use by any client due to the new Smartphone Curve 8520, available with dedicated Orange subscription with prices starting from €5a month”, said Razvan Sturza, Product Manager Orange Romania.

The new BlackBerry Curve 8520 from Orange will be available for prices ranging from €99 and €222 (VAT included) depending on the subscription type. BlackBerry Curve 8520 completes the BlackBerry Curve series that includes BlackBerry Pearl 8120, BlackBerry Bold, BlackBerry Curve 8900, and BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220.
