BET index that gauges the performance of ten most actively traded stocks at BSE closed 1.25% down to 5,932.91 points, while composite BET-C shed 0.55% to 3,475.35 points.
BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies gained 0.95% to 32,252.96 points, while Vienna’s ROTX dropped 0.86% to 11,877.99 points.
BET-XT index of 25 most traded stocks fell 0.37% to 589.58 points, while BET-NG gauge of ten energy stocks lost 0.66% to 795.91 points.
European stock markets were slipping on the negative territory at BSE’s closing, led by banking and oil sectors. At the London Stock Exchange, FTSE index of the leading 100 companies was moving 0.24% lower to 5,689.59 points, while Germany’s DAX was advancing 0.26% to 6,135.76 points. France’s CAC40 was inching down 0.08% to 3,985.65 points.
Banca Transilvania shares (BSE:TLV) have been the most traded stocks today, with 6.25 million lei total trading value, and suffered 1.27% decline to 2.33 lei. BRD SocGen (BSE:BRD) dropped 1.27% to 15.50 lei and recorded a total trading value of 1.03 million lei.
In the FIC sector (BSE:SIF), FIC Oltenia (BSE:SIF5) rose 1.12% to 1.81 lei, while FIC Moldova (BSE:SIF2) rose 0.67% to 1.50 lei.
