Leu was trading at a relatively low level in the morning, at 4.1680 units/euro, and fell steadily afterwards to 4.1830 units/euro, but after 12:30, the leu managed managed to shake off the early blues and grew to 4.1760 lei/euro.
In the region, the Polish zloty dropped from 3.9440 to 3.9620 units against euro, but rose afterwards to 3.9560 units/euro. The Hungarian forint fell from 271.68 forints/euro to 273.71, and rebounded to 272.70 forints/euro.
For the greenback, NBR set a reference rate of 3.3209 lei/dollar, up 0.94% from yesterday.
