BET index loses 1%

Stocks at the Bucharest Stock Exchange posted below-1% declines today, while the financial investment companies finished down 0.32%.
The total trade value at the equity market fell by almost three times to 13.14 million lei (€3.14 million).

BET index that gauges the performance of the ten most actively traded stocks at BSE fell 0.81% to 4,935.05 points, while composite BET-C gave up 0.99% and closed at 2,952.22 points.

BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies dropped 0.32% to 20,248.94 points, while Vienna’s ROTX fell 0.60% to 10,201.48 points.

BET-XT index of the 25 most traded stocks closed down 0.74% to 451,84 points, while BET-NG gauge of ten energy stocks declined 0.91% to 695.84 points.

BRD SocGen shares (BSE:BRD) have been the most traded today, with 4 million lei total trade value, while stock prices slumped 3.15% to 12.3 lei. Banca Transilvania (BSE:TLV) posted 2.04% gain to 1.5 lei, and recorded a total trade value of 579,000 lei.

SIF Oltenia (BSE:SIF5) recorded a trade value of 1.99 million lei, while stock prices dropped 1.71% to 1.15 lei. SIF Moldova (BSE:SIF2) closed flat at 0.91 lei, and posted a trade value of 1.33 million lei.

In the energy sector, OMV Petrom (BSE:SNP) fell 2.33% to 0.293 lei, while Transgaz (BSE:TGN) gained modestly, 0.05% to 214 lei.
