BET index of the ten most actively traded stocks at BSE climbed 2.66% to 5,024.64 points, while composite BET-C grew 2.37% to 2,992.69 points.
“Over the last few days, the market seems to have restored its balance, and the upkeep of BET index above the 5,000-point mark can be a positive signal on a short term”, Nicu Grigoras (photo), broker at Intercapital Invest told Wall-Street.
The signal however, must be confirmed in the next sessions, but on a short term prospects are favorable also due to the bullish sentiment in international markets.
“However, on a medium term I expect to see new negative news from euro zone countries”, said Grigoras.
BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies jumped 4.48% to 20,903.74 points, while Vienna’s ROTX gained 2.66% to 10,318.93 points.
BET-XT index of the 25 most traded stocks finished up 3.05% to 460.99 points, while BET-NG gauge of ten energy companies rose 1.32% to 703.28 points.
BRD SocGen shares (BSE:BRD) have been the most traded today, with 14.56 million lei total trade value, while stock prices increased by 5% to 12.6 lei. Banca Transilvania (BSE:TLV) jumped 2.01% to 1.52 lei and recorded a total trade value of 1.43 million lei.
SIF Oltenia (BSE:SIF5) finished up 6.25% to 1.19 lei, while SIF Moldova (BSE:SIF2) moved 5.08% higher to 0.93 lei.
In the energy sector, OMV Petrom (BSE:OMV) grew 1.35% to 0.3 lei, while Dafora Medias (BSE:DAFR) posted 4.59% gain to 0.114 lei.
