Shareholders who requested the payment to be made in open accounts at other banks than BRD, will receive dividends in the respective accounts.
Shareholders who haven’t indicated an account number for the transfer of dividends are invited at every BRD unit until June 25, 2010 to opt for the means of payment of the dividends.
BRD – Groupe Societe Generale sent to every shareholder a formal notification letter on the value of the dividends and payment options.
The General Shareholders Assembly of BRD – Groupe Societe Generale from April 27, 2010, agreed on a gross dividend of 0.27947 lei/share. According to the fiscal regulation in force, revenues from dividend are taxed with 16% for resident individuals, 10% for legal persons and non-resident investment funds, and 0% for resident pension funds; and 16% for non-resident natural and legal persons.
BRD Groupe Societe Generale is the second largest bank in Romania by assets. The bank has over 2.5 million customers and a network of 930 units. BRD has the second highest market cap at the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
