Lexus launched this year the new generation of the hybrid SUV RX450H and the convertible IS250C.

Porsche: 95 units

The peak month for sales this year was May when Porsche delivered 13 cars, while last year in June, the car maker sold 27 units.

Porsche’s top-selling brands in Romania are Cayenne 911 and Carrera.

Land Rover: 294 units

Land Rover retained its last year position as the fourth best selling car brand in Romania.

Land Rover’s best selling brands in Romania are Land Rover Freelander 2 and Range Rover Sport.

BMW: 1,129 units

BMW: 1,129 unitsBMW lost the second spot to rival Audi, and was ranked third best-selling luxury car in Romania.

In the first eleven months last year, BMW was second at narrow margin from Audi (28 units).

In January-November, BMW sold 63% fewer cars this year from 3,059 a year earlier to 1,129 units.

BMW’s sales in Romania peaked in March with 160 units sold. Last year, the best month for BMW was January when it delivered 388 cars.

BMW’s top-selling brands in Romania are X5 and 3-series.

Audi: 1,346 units

Audi: 1,346 unitsAudi takes up the second spot in top-selling luxury brands ranking in Romania, with 1,364 units sold from January to November.

Compared to year-ago sales (3,031), Audi showed a 55% decline.

Peak month for the German-based carmaker was January when it sold 159 cars while last year was March when it delivered 342 units.

Audi’s top-selling brands in Romania this year were A4 and Q5.

Mercedes-Benz: 1,412 units

Mercedes-Benz: 1,412 unitsThis year’s best-selling luxury car is Mercedes-Benz, after reporting 1,142 cars sold year-to-date 57% fewer than 3,307 a year earlier.

Mercedes-Benz sales peaked in March this year, when it sold 322 cars. Last year, the biggest sales were reported in June – 399 units.

Mercedes-Benz’ top-selling models in Romania are E Classe and C Classe.
