Iulian Dascalu holds 346,000 sqm of retail space

Suceava-based mall was opened on November 15, with 60 million euros investment and has a gross area of 70,000 sqm with 50,000 sqm available as retail space.

“The main factors that determined us to build this mall in Suceava were the economic potential of the area, geographical positioning and demographic factors”, said Iulian Dascalu (photo).

Iulius Mall Suceava encloses, apart from the stores, a food court area with 12 restaurants, casino, sport pub, indoor playground, outdoor football court and skating.

In the first two days since the opening, Iulius Mall Suceava received 200,000 visitors and representatives of the mall estimate 7 million visitor traffic for 2009 and sales of over 70 million euros.

The extension works have been completed, and the initial 34,000 gross surface reached 38,000 sqm. Currently, Iulius Group is conducting expansion works at its mall in Timisoara, thus doubling the gross surface of the plaza to 177,613 sqm.
