Coca-Cola Romania: We have not made any decision to shut down bottling plants in Ploiesti or Iasi
Coca-Cola HBC Romania has not made any decision yet to shut down factories in Iasi or Ploiesti, denying the information in the recent media reports.
“There is no decision to shut down Coca-Cola factories in Iasi or Ploiesti. We can not comment the rumors or speculations on this matter. The activity of the two factories continues in its regular parameters”, reads the press release remitted by Coca-Cola Romania.
Coca-Cola announced in September the shut down of Sacadat-based bottling facility, the decision being part of the company’s development strategy which targets consolidation of the production capacity of factories in Iasi, Timisoara, Ploiesti and Dorna.
