Plus retailer ends year with 71-units wide network



German-based discount retailer Plus, opened in Blaj and Reghin two new stores, following a roughly three million euros investment, thus consolidating the network it holds in Romania, that reached to 71 outlets.

The new Plus store opened in Reghin has 1,400 sqm gross surface, with 1.100 shopping area and 300 sqm afferent spaces. The store has a freestander construction that meets the standard formats and has 116-space parking.

The new store opened in Blaj covers nearly 1,200 sqm with 1,000 shopping area and 200 sqm afferent spaces. The store has 59 adjacent parking lots, and it is the third Plus outlet opened in Alba county.

According to representatives of the retailer, the expansion of the network by two more units, namely in Reghin and Blaj is included in the expansion program across the country which will continue in all cities with over 15,000 inhabitants.

Plus provides a wide array of products, including both food stuff and type 1 non-food products (detergents, cosmetics and pet food). The supply of the stores is conducted on daily basis from the Ploiesti-based logistic center.
