M Car Trading delivers the new Mitsubishi Colt and Lancer Sportback in Romania

“In 2009, the new Mistubishi Colt, Lancer Sportback and Ralliart trim level for Lancer Sedan and sport-hatched body style, Sportback” M Car Trading representatives told Wall-Street.

The new Lancer Sportback comes in two engine versions, 1.8 liter 109 HP and 2.0 liter diesel 140 HP. The model will offer a choice of between 4 gearboxes: a 5 M/T, 6 M/T, 4 A/T and a "stepped" 6 speed CVT transmission.

The new Lancer Sportback measures 4,585 mm in length in its Lancer Sports Sedan version. Interior volume ranges between 288 liters, 344 liters, when the cargo floor is in the low position, and 1.394 liters.

The new Mitsubishi Colt will come in three engine versions, 1.1 liter 75 HP, 1.3 liters 95 HP and 1.5 liters that outputs 109 HP at 6,000 rpm.

The Colt range will include Clear Tec models that will feature "Automatic Stop & Go" (AS&G) system together with regenerative braking technologies, leading to an improvement of over 10% in terms of CO2 emissions.

Cold enjoyed a great success, the total sales amounting to nearly 267,000 units.

M Car Trading reported a 5.5% profit margin in 2007, after 4 million euros profit recorded at 73.7 million euros turnover.
