The leu weakens to 4.26 versus euro in morning trades
The national currency in Romania dropped to 4.26 against the single European currency this morning in line with other emergent currencies in the region, NewsIn informs.
The currency started at 4.2473 against euro and then fell to 4.2720 only to stabilize around 4.26 shortly after. At 10:10 banks were buying the euro for 4.2618 and selling it for 4.2718.
In the region the Hungarian forint lost ground from 292.27 to 293.55 against the euro and the Polish zloty dropped from 4.5125 to 4.5515.
