Foreigners reduced capital injections on Romanian financial market to half in January



Foreigners tailored by one half the capital injections pumped into companies on the local financial market in January compared to the same month of the previous year, to 33.66 million euros, according to data published by the Trade Registry Office (ONRC), NewsIn informs.
They injected some 72.9 million euros on the Romanian financial market in January 2008.

The largest capital infusion was completed in January by the French insurer Groupama, which pumped 14.87 million euros into the share capital of insurance company Asiban.

It was followed by Holland's ING Commercial Finance BV with a 6.2 million euros chunk to the capital of ING Commercial Finance IFN. The private pension fund administrator Generali received 5.17 million euros.

In the same month, mortgage company Verida Credit IFN added 3.96 million euros to its capital, next to insurance company Fata Asigurari, part of the Italian group Generali, which increased the share capital by 2.1 million euros.
