KFC Romania: 8.4 million euros in first quarter
The fast food chain operator KFC Romania recorded a turnover of about 8.4 million euros in the first quarter, 10 percent up year-on-year, NewsIn informs.
The chain opened a new restaurant in Bucharest at the beginning of the year, after a 650,000 euros investment. The expected turnover for the first year is of 2 million euros.
KFC now operates 32 restaurants in Romania and one in Chisinau. Last year's turnover stood at 40.5 million euros, 25 percent up from 2007.
Kentucky Fried Chicken runs under an enfranchisement contract with US Food Network SA since 1996.
