FIC Moldova posts quarterly profit down 65%



Financial investment company FIC Moldova (SIF2) reported a net profit of 4.17 million lei (980,000 euros) in the first quarter, down 65 percent from prior-year period, after revenues compressed by half, financial results show, NewsIn informs.
The company recorded a profit of 11.84 million lei in the first three months of last year.

SIF Moldova booked revenues of 14.63 million lei between January and March equivalent to half of the sum recorded a year earlier.

The company managed to reduce spending by 34 percent year-on-year in the first quarter, to 10.46 million lei.

Shares are listed at the first tier of the Bucharest Stock Exchange. The company’s share capital stands at 51.91 million lei divided into 519.09 million shares, at a face value of 0.10 lei.
