Largest private banking account at RBS tops 3 million euros

The largest account under RBS’ private banking division management in Romania, Royal Preferred Banking, exceeds 3 million dollars. The bank administrates total assets of 100 million euros, according to Marijana Vasilescu, head of preferred banking RBS.
“This is the second year of activity for us in this segment and our client base exceeds 1,100, with total assets under management of around 100 million euros,” said Vasilescu.

Over 60% of RBS’ clients match to conservatory investment profile. The majority of preferred banking clients hold liquidities and revenues between 35,000 and 500,000 euros.

“Investment products included in private banking segment suffered a severe decline over the past 6-9 months, but since October 2008, Royal Preferred Banking clients started to shift focus on saving products with a maturity higher than six months”, said Marijana Vasilescu.
