FIC Moldova receives 12.71 million for the equity position in Bancpost
FIC Moldova, the last majority shareholder sold its equity position of 3.47% in Bancpost for 12.71 million euros, according to a report remitted to Bucharest Stock Exchange.
The package included 57.57 million existent shares and 18.59 million shares underway to be issued, NewsIn informs. The company will receive 9.6 million euros in coming days and another 3.1 million euros by October 5.
SIF Transilvania (SIF3) and SIF Banat-Crisana (SIF1) announced at the end of last week that they sold their 3.49 percent participations in Bancpost and received 12.75 million euros each. SIF Oltenia (SIF5) also sold its shares two weeks ago and got 12.15 million euros.
The financial companies held together almost 14 percent of the Bancpost share capital. The Greek group now owns over 98.5 percent.
