LG delivers the new watchphone with touchscreen
LG Electronics has officially launched in Romania the first watchphone with touchscreen, LG GD910, available as of August exclusively with Orange.
The new LG GD910 is 3G/3G+ compatible, enabling users to connect to Orange’s mobile internet. As for the design, the watchphone features a tempered glass touchscreen, metal casing, and is around 13.9mm thick.
“We have developed this phone starting from consumers’ needs and expectations, turning their ideas into reality. We are convinced it will be received with enthusiasm by Romanian users”, said Claudia Popa, GSM sales director at LG Electronics Romania.
The LG GD910 watchphone supports a Flash UI intuitive interface optimized for finger usage. The three side-mounted buttons control the whole navigation of the phone.
Voice recognition features, which can be used with or without a Bluetooth headset, make it easier to place calls and look up contacts. Text to Speech (TTS) reads text messages and other information out loud. The phone also includes waterproof hardware, Bluetooth, MP3, timer and microphone.
The LG GD910 is available in Romania exclusively with Orange and can be purchased from any Orange Concept Store for 399 euros with two-year 20 euro-contract.
