Fitch affirms Banca Romaneascas rating, downgrades Bancpost
Fitch Ratings has today affirmed Romania-based Banca Romaneasca S.A.'s individual rating to Individual 'D' and downgraded Bancpost’s individual rating from ‘D’ to ‘D/E’ due to the impact of rapidly increasing impairment charges on the bank's capitalization, and its still low operating profitability.
Fitch Ratings affirmed Bancpost and Banca Romaneasca’s long term IDR at ‘BBB’, but stressed the outlook was negative.
Banca Romaneasca and Bancpost’s short term IDR remained at ‘F3’.
