Renault rolls out the new Renault Grand Scenic



Renault will bring its new 5-star safety rated car Grand Scenic in Romania this year, in September.
Renault Grand Scenic is 12th model of the Renault range to secure EuroNCAP's maximum five-star crash-test rating.

The new Grand Scenic borrows equipment package from Megane family, the twin side impact sensors first seen on Laguna III, six airbags, including two dual-chamber thorax/groin airbags, the Renault System for Restraint and Protection that comprises double pretensioners, load limiters and dual chamber twin-stage adaptive front airbags as well as new-generation headrests.

The model comes with ABS and emergency break assistance as standard, and Electronic Stability Control and CSV understeer control, depending on the version.

The new Grand Scenic marks an optimization of the design, including a new chrome-effect grille, the chromed- foglamp back plates and door handles, gloss black center-pillars, chrome tailgate trimming and body-color side protective mouldings.

The diesel version comes in a choice of four power outputs dCi 105, dCi 110 DPF (diesel particulate filter), dCi 130 (with or without DPF), dCi 150 DPF with automatic transmission and dCi 160 DPF (with manual gearbox). Depending on the market, the new Grand Scenic lineup includes 5 types of gasoline engine versions 1.6 16V 110HP, 2.0 16V 140HP, 1.8 liters 130HP.

Renault Grand Scenic is available in five and seven-seat models.
