Property Funds first-half profit chopped to half
Proprietatea Fund reported a net profit of 167.87 million lei in the first half, 47.4 percent below year-ago levels, the company announced.
The Fund had a net profit of 319 million lei in the first half last year and of 467.7 million lei for the whole year.
Total assets of Proprietatea Fund amounted to 11.12 billion lei at the end of June, slightly up from 10.95 billion lei at the end of 2008, NewsIn informs.
The primary revenue drivers in first half were the dividends (117.16 million lei) and interests (61.42 million lei). Operating expenses stood at 10.97 million lei, down 8 percent versus the similar period of 2008.
