Top largest stock brokers in August
In August, the stock market liquidity was higher than in July, and the gaps between the ten largest brokerage firms active at Bucharest Stock Exchange have drastically narrowed.
10. UniCredit CAIB Securities
Year-to-date, the company brokered transactions worth a total 298.76 million lei and ranks ninth in the annual top.
In July, UniCredit CAIB brokered transactions worth 15.06 million lei and took the 16th spot.
9. Intercapital Invest
In July, the brokerage firm reported a trading portfolio of 49.9 million lei, while year-to-date, transactions totaled 260.8 million lei, ranking 11th in the annual top.
8. Tradeville
Year-to-date, the firm brokered transactions worth 275.8 million lei, moving up to tenth on the list of top brokerage firms.
7. Carpatica Invest
A month earlier, the company brokered transactions worth 31.5 million lei, taking up the tenth spot.
In the annual list of top brokerage companies, Carpatica Invest ranks eighth with a trading portfolio of 315.8 million lei.
6. BRD Groupe Societe Generale
Year-to-date, BRD brokered transactions of 351.5 million lei, moving to the sixth position.
5. IFB Finwest
In July, the company reported 30.9 million lei and was standing on eleventh.
In the annual ranking, IFB Finwest took seventh spot with total transactions of 324 million lei.
4. KBC Securities
In July, KBC’s trading book totaled 41.1 million lei, while up to the current date the total value of brokered transactions amounts 581.3 million lei.
3. ING Bank Romania
The decline was largely due to the reduction in transaction value by 23% from 151.3 million lei.
ING brokered transactions worth 683.4 million lei year-to-date and keeps its leading position in the top stock brokerage companies at BSE.
2. Raiffeisen Capital & Investment
Year-to-date, Raiffeisen Capital & Investment brokered stock trades of 534.8 million lei and takes the fourth spot in the annual ranking.
1. BT Securities
In August BT Securities brokered transactions worth 127.9 million lei, twice more than in July.
The growth recorded in August secured BT Securities the second position in the annual list of top stock brokerage firm, with transactions of 648.5 million lei.
