Top cheapest homes for sale in Bucharest and Ilfov

After a whopping 40% decline in housing prices in Bucharest (prices expressed in euro), the cheapest home is now priced as low as 30,000 euros.

10. 45,000 euros

For 45,000 euros, homebuyers can purchase a two-room apartment in Militari or Berceni area, according to imobiliare.ro. A two-room apartment in Militari Residence homebuilding costs 45,000 euros. The 50-square-meter house is at the ground floor of a six-story building.

Another house available for 45,000 euros is a 55-square meter semi-railroad style apartment at the attic floor. The building is located in Berceni area, near IMGB 1 metro station.


9. 44,980 euros

A 37-square meter bachelor apartment located in Chitila area has a starting price of 44,980 euros, according to imobiliare.ro portal.

The apartment is at the first floor in a three-story building completed earlier this year. The apartment has its own heating system and air conditioning, while interior finishings are custom-made, and are included in the price.


8. 39,000 euros

A bachelor apartment in Rasarit de Soare project, developed by Conarg in Titan area, nearby Auchan hypermarket has a starting price of 39,000 euros (5% VAT included).

The compound includes 988 apartments in seven 11-story blocks.

Conarg developer has also completed Quadra Palace project nearby the Botanic Garden.


7. 40,000 euros

In Pantelimon, a 50-sqm bachelor apartment with balcony and parking space costs 40,000 euros (VAT included) with VAT, according to MagazindeCase.ro.

The apartment is in the first floor of a four-story block constructed in 2008 with own heating system. For 40,000 euros, homebuyers can purchase also a studio apartment in Berceni area, near IMGB metro station, according to imobiliare.ro portal. The 31-sqm apartment is at the first floor of a two-story block.


6. 36,000 euros

In Prelungirea Ghencea area, a 36-sqm bachelor apartment is priced at 36,000 euros, according to rezidential.net portal.

The apartment is finished and is part of a three-story block constructed in 2008.


5. 35,000 euros

The fifth cheapest housing unit is a two-room apartment in a villa in Domesti which was constructed last year. The 80-sqm apartment is at the first floor, the villa having two stories.

The apartment has two balconies and two bedrooms, and doesn’t have an own heating system, according to MagazinuldeCase.ro.


4. 31,962 euros

A 34-sqm bachelor apartment in Gloria project in Jilava has a starting price of 31,962 euros (VAT included), according to rezidential.net.

Gloria project has 299 apartments in 11 four-story blocks. The project is developed in three stages, the delivery date being November 2008, March 2009 and March 2010.


3. 33,000 euros

On third, there is a 42-sqm bachelor apartment in Voluntari area that costs around 33,000 euros. The bachelor apartment is in the first floor of a four-story block completed earlier this year, according to MagazinulDeCase.ro.

The semi-railroad apartment has one balcony and is part of Onix City residential project, located near Militari metro station. The price includes VAT and parking space.


2. 29,000 euros plus VAT

A 40-sqm bachelor apartment in Topaz Green Residence project costs 29,000 euros (VAT included), according to rezidential.net.

The project is located in the south-west area of Bucharest and the access road is via Prelungirea Ghencea or from Soseaua Alexandriei road.

Topaz Green Residence comprises 22 apartments.


1. 26,000 euros

The cheapest home on sale costs 26,000 euros and is a 38-sqm semi-railroad apartment located in Prelungirea Ghencea area, according to imobiliare.ro portal.

The dwelling was completed in 2008 and is part of a one-story+attic building 900m away from Lukoil filling station in Prelungirea Ghencea.
