ProLogis appoints CFO for Central and Eastern Europe



After the departure of ProLogis country director for Romania, Vlad Dumitrescu, the provider of distribution facilities announced that Peter Whiskerd-Wgorzewski has been appointed regional chief financial officer for Central & Eastern Europe.
Peter Whiskerd-Wêgorzewski (photo) will be responsible for the overall financial management of ProLogis' business in Central & Eastern Europe, overseeing finance teams located in each of the region's major markets, from his office in Warsaw.

“Peter brings nearly 20 years of executive experience in blue-chip companies” said Ben Bannatyne, ProLogis‘ managing director for Central & Eastern Europe. “He has played a major role in restructuring, integration and IPO for a number of businesses”.

He has worked in a number of countries including the UK, Austria, Italy and others across Central Europe. He has lived in Poland since 1996. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (F.C.M.A.) and has a degree in German Studies from the University of Warwick.

The CEE’s largest warehouse owner has more 3.7 million square meter of industrial space under management or under development.

Current ProLogis customers in the region include Actebis, Antalis, Bertelsmann, Carlsberg, Carrefour, DHL, DSV, Fiege, Gefco, Geodis, Kuehne+Nagel, Lekkerland, L’Oreal, NYK, Procter & Gamble, Raben Group, Tesco, Unilever and Wincanton.
