Blue Air adds two flights from Cluj-Napoca



Low-cost airline, Blue Air will introduce as of October 25, two new flights from Romanian city Cluj-Napoca to Rome and Paris.
The two routes will be operated three times a week: to Paris on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays and to Rome, every Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

The country’s largest low-fare airline, Wizz Air, has consolidated presence on the two routes, by increasing frequency of its weekly flights. As of October 25, Wizz Air will operate 7 flights to Rome (Fiumicino) instead of 4.

The frequency of flights to Paris/Beauvais will also increase from 3 to 4 a week.

Blue Air is a privately-held Romanian company, authorized to operate regular short and long-haul passenger, charter, on–demand and cargo flights.

The carrier reported sales of €124.1mln in 2008 and expects €170 mln for 2009.
