OMVs financial instruments registered into RoClear system
Central Depository said it had registered since Tuesday the financial instruments issued by OMV AG into the clearing settlement and registry system RoClear. The instruments can be traded on the over-the-counter markets.
“This is a premiere for the Romanian capital market, being the first financial instruments issued by a foreign company, listed on a market regulated by European Union, and not present on Bucharest regulated market”, Central Depository said.
The record of the financial instruments into the system was possible due to the cross-border links made by the Central Depository with 16 countries, Austria included.
The shares of OMV AG group, majority shareholder of Petrom, are traded at Vienna Stock Exchange and have a face value of €1. The closing quote at Vienna stock market was €28.65/share.
