FIC sectors move 1% higher



FIC sector (BSE:SIF) at the Bucharest Stock Exchange finished up 1% Friday, despite the bearish trend of its external peers, and the 0.16% decline in the BSE’s composite index.
On Friday, the Bucharest Stock Exchange traded around 9.21 million lei (€2.1 million), up 60% from yesterday’s close of 5.78 million lei. State securities worth 3.53 million lei changed hands today.

BET index that gauges the performance of the ten most liquid stocks at the BSE finished 0.27% to 4,844.85 points, while the composite BET-C dropped 0.16% to 2,794.81.

BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies (BSE:SIF) gained 1.01% to 22,825.12 points, while Vienna Stock Exchange’s ROTX fell 0.22% to 10,107.52 points.

BET-XT index that measures the performance of the 25 most liquid shares closed up 0.22% to 466.76, and BET-NG of the energy companies listed at BSE increased 0.65% to 618.24points.

European stock markets slid today at the BSE’s closing hour for the fourth successive day, led by financials and energy stocks. FTSE index of leading 100 shares was down 0.36% to 5,248.58 points while Germany’s DAX suffered a 0.52% decline to 5,672.65. Paris’ CAC40 edged down 0.58% to 3,738.32 points.

FIC Oltenia (BSE:SIF5) has led the most traded stock chart today, with shares worth 2.21 million lei changing hands, pushing prices up 0.84% to 1.20 lei, followed by FIC Moldova (BSE:FIC2) with a 1.9% growth to 1.07 lei, and a liquidity of 983,000 lei.

In financial sector, Banca Transilvania (BSE: TLV) was down 0.47% to 2.12 lei, after shares worth 658,200lei changed hands. Erste Bank shares (BSE:EBS) fell 2.03% to 125.40 lei after 677,300 lei trades. BRD SocGen stocks gained 0.74%to 13.70 lei, in a liquidity of 475,300lei.

Transactions with Transgaz Medias stocks (BSE:TGN) totaled 642,250 lei as prices moved 1.95% higher to 157lei. Petrom shares were steady at 0.259 lei, as transactions totaled 337,500 lei.
