Pharma sector to generate 15% of Edatas business in 2010

The Edata holding of companies in IT consultancy and software distribution plans to approach new market sectors in the coming period. The first sector it targets is pharmaceuticals; Edata expects 15% of its 2010 turnover to come from implementing IT solutions in pharmaceuticals companies.
Edata posted a €8 million turnover this year, 33% higher than 2008 levels.

The group, comprising Edata and BPM Wave, thus topped late last year’s forecasts – when it expected a €4 million turnover for 2009.

This achievement is due to the group’s significantly expanding its portfolio of customers and partners this year, thus making the best out of the current market conditions.

Edata offers management and IT consultancy services, supplying its customers with business models and technology platforms. The company is particularly specialized in Business Process Management services for the corporate sector and public administration.

BPM Wave exclusively focuses on Business Process Management and Enterprise Architecture, and offers solutions to both the corporate sector and the public sector. The company’s portfolio comprises software for both overall enterprise design - strategy, processes, IT architecture – and for the execution and monitoring of business processes.
