Mercedes Benz opens auto parts warehouse in Oradea
Mercedes Benz Romania, importer of German-based car, has invested €3 million in an auto parts warehouse in Oradea.
“Given the market dynamics and the slow economic recovery, the company’s actions and market estimates were aimed at supporting and optimizing our activity”, said Michael Grewe, CEO and chairman of Mercedes-Benz Romania at the opening of the warehouse.
The 4,000sqm warehouse has permanent car parts stock worth around €5 million.
The company estimates that in December 2009, the percentage of meeting the orders placed from the authorized car repair centers with car parts in stock to Oradea warehouse will be 82%.
The delivery is made within 24 hours to all car repair centers across the country.
The warehouse supplies original parts for Mercedes-Benz, smart, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Mitsubishi Fuso Canter.
