Templeton Emerging Markets picks up 6% of Impact
Templeton Emerging Markets Fund acquired late last week 6% stake in real estate developer Impact Developer (ticker IMP) from the owner of the company, Dan Ioan Popp.
Prior to the deal, the US-based investment fund was holding 171,000 shares in the company. Now, the fund holds 12.1 million shares.
Popp’s interest was reduced from 28.06% to 22.06%.
Impact Developer’s profit plummeted 21-times in the Jan-Sep period this year, to 791,800 lei, after posting loss in third quarter.
Impact has a share capital of 200 million lei divided into 200 million shares at a face value of 0.64lei/share.
