Edit Vesser takes leadership of BNP Paribas Real Estate Romania



Edit Vesser is as of January 12, 2010 the new chief executive of BNP Paribas Real Estate, the real estate arm of French-based group BNP Paribas.
Edit Vesser, also one of the co-founders of the company took over the leadership role after Ioana Momiceanu stepped down in 2009. In her new role, she will oversee the implementation of the business and group’s strategy in the Romanian market. Her main challenge will be to lead BNP Paribas Real Estate to a top 5 position.

The manager started her career in real estate in United States and Hungary. In 1995 she was appointed to oversee the opening of Colliers’ office in Romania.

In 2001, Vesser brought a major contribution to the development of BNP Paribas Real Estate team in Romania. Her tasks included the identification of new business sources and intermediation of commercial transactions that involved multination companies looking to rent/buy office space in Romania.

She provided advisory services and intermediated real estate transactions for a number of local and international clients such as ING Group Nederlanden, Life Insurance, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, British American Tobacco, Campofrio, Coty, Mercury Research and others. She also contributed to the rental of Opera Center, the first large office center in Bucharest.
