Pavel Stanchev steps down as Kanal D CEO
Pavel Stanchev, appointed as CEO of TV station Kanal D in February 2009, stepped down from his post “to pursue new career opportunities”.
“We wish to thank Mr Pavel Stanchev for the devotion and hard work he has put in throughout 2009, and we wish him all the best of luck in his future career”, said Begum Dogan, chairwoman of Kanal D and vice president of Dogan Media Group.
Haluk Kurcer, executive member of the board of directors will fill the CEO role, together with the current management team.
Entertainment TV channel Kanal D is the eighth largest channel in Romania by viewership, with an average of 99,000 viewers per day, according to paginademedia.ro.
