Jones Lang LaSalle appoints Troy Javaher to head Bucharest office



Jones Lang LaSalle has promoted Troy Javaher to head up the real estate advisor’s operations in Romania. He will replace Thierry Delvaux who has filled the role for the past six months.
Troy Javaher (photo) will continue to oversee the investment management operations of the company while filling the role of managing director of Jones Lang LaSalle Bucharest office As one of the two senior members sent to launch the Jones Lang LaSalle Bucharest office in 2007, Troy Javaher has investment / development experience in all key real estate sectors and professional experience in the South Eastern European region dating back to 1998.

Thierry Delvaux who took up the managing director position of Bucharest office in August 2009 after the departure of Charles Krick has been promoted as managing director of Jones Lang LaSalle International Desk, based in Washington. Over the past six months, Thierry Delvaux served as country manager for Hungary and Romania.

Ferenc Furulyas who joined the company in 2003 took up the country manager position for Hungary. Ferenc Furulyas and Troy Javaher will report to John Duckworth, head of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Central and Eastern European business.

Troy Javaher will pursue the same strategy employed by Thierry Delvaux last year, namely to increase the market share of Jones Lang LaSalle’s investment offices in the local advisory market.
