Raiffeisen, Vodafone and Unicredit renew property lease for CDG Plaza



Raiffeisen Bank, Vodafone and Unicredit Tiriac Bank have renewed the lease on the office space at Bucharest’s Charles de Gaulle Plaza office building owned by German fund GLL Real Estate Partners.
Raiffeisen Bank has renewed the lease for 8,000 sqm office space in Charles de Gaulle Plaza (photo), according to Jones Lang LaSalle that spearheaded the leasing efforts for the building, together with CBRE|Eurisko.

Raiffeisen has thus joined the list of tenants who renewed their property leasing agreement that includes Vodafone and Unicredit Tiriac Bank.

“The rents for office spaces in Aviatorilor area range between €17 and €21/sqm/month, depending on the building, which may be business center, villa, or small office building”, said Lori Collin Senior Consultant within Jones Lang LaSalle.

In this context, the rent paid by Raiffeisen Bank to the German fund GLL Real Estate Partners could hover near €1.6-2 million per annum.

GLL acquired CDG Plaza building, also known as Vodafone building, in the summer of 2006 for more than €80 million. The building is 16-storeys high and has a total surface of 40,000 sqm.

Raiffeisen Bank has a network of 558 outlets and provides phone banking (Raiffeisen Direct), mobile banking (myBanking), Internet banking (Raiffeisen Online) services. The bank has a customer base of more than 1.9 million natural persons, 100,000 SMEs and 6,800 medium and large companies.
