Siveco to deploy Ael learning platform in 9,000 schools in Morocco

Siveco Romania, one of the largest software makers in Romania, will provide e-learning solutions to more than 9,000 schools in Morocco, making it one of the largest learning software makers in the country.
The e-learning platform AeL (advanced e-learning) will be deployed over the next three years to serve 9,000 schools in Morocco.

“These projects create premises for a successful collaboration between Siveco and the Ministry of Education in Morocco for at least three years, with the possibility of extending it for another ten years under the national education reform program”, said Florian Ciolacu, Vice-President, International Accounts and Partners with Siveco Romania.

The platform will integrate management information capabilities for school management. The software will store school-related information, details about the teachers, students, staff and resources. Data will be sorted at regional or national level.

Siveco Romania recorded revenues of €65 million in 2008, versus €49.5 million in 2007. However, the software maker’s profit fell from €3.2 million in 2007 to €2.5 million in 2008.
