Ivana Vacokova named chief executive of Grafton Recruitment Romania
Slovakian-born Ivana Vacokova assumed in January 1 the leadership of the local branch of Grafton Recruitment, part of Irish-based Grafton group, the recruitment company with offices now spanning 18 countries.
Vacokova, who served as branch manager of the company, joined Grafton Slovakia in 2006.
Prior to joining the Slovakian branch of the recruitment group, Vacokova had spent two years at Dell, one of the world’s largest PC-makers, where Grafton Recruitment Romania branch manager has had a variety of sales positions.
Vacokova succeeds Marius Precu who managed Grafton’s operations in Romania for two years. The recruitment company is specialized in success-fee based recruitment. Precu also served as country manager of SpenglerFox Romania, executive search company held by the Irish group.
Marius Precu left his post at SpenglerFox Romania in September 2009, in order to establish together with Oana Ciornei, former COO and partner of Leadership Development Solutions (LDS), their own executive search firm, TheSearchers.
Grafton Recruitment Romania recorded a turnover of €500,000 in 2008 and a loss of €170,000.
