Altexs 2009 revenues cut to half, keeps grip on top spot
Altex has retained its status as the leading electronics retailer in 2009, with revenues of €180 million, in line with last year forecasts, according to Dan Ostahie, owner of the company.
He said he expects the electronics retailing market to stay at last year level in 2010.
“We will most likely see the same trend in 2010.Electronics retailing market will not pass the €800 million mark, and the IT&C sector will remain the key revenue driver, same as last year”, Altex representative said.
Altex’ best year was 2008, when it reported €344 million revenues from €314 million in 2007.
