BSE stocks end session with strong gains



Stocks at the Bucharest trading posted strong gains today, with the index of the ten most actively traded stocks (BET) finishing 2% higher, while liquidity was once again buoyed by state securities trades that topped €10 million.
The liquidity at the stock market rose to 26.08 million lei (€6.31 million), compared to 18.15 million lei on Friday (€4.4 million). Transactions with bonds totaled 44.68 million lei (€10.8 million) propped by the transfer of 4,000 state securities.

BET index that gauges the performance of ten most actively traded stocks at BSE rose 2.07% to 5,373.83 points, while composite BET-C jumped 1.95% to 3,096.42 points.

BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies (BSE:SIF) gained 1.60% to 30,758.48, while Vienna’s ROTX soared 1.72% to 10,843.54 points.

BET-XT index of the 25 most traded stocks climbed 1.90% to 542.38, while the ten energy stocks gauge BET-NG rose 2.11% to 715.64 points.

FIC Oltenia shares (BSE:SIF5) have been the most traded stocks today, with 5.03 million lei liquidity, while share prices climbed 2.45% to 1.67 lei. FIC Moldova (BSE:SIF2) closed 2.11% higher to 1.45 lei.

In the banking sector, Banca Transilvania (BSE:TLV) has been the most actively traded stocks today with 3.26 million lei liquidity, while share prices jumped 3.86% to 2.15 lei. Erste Bank (BSE:EBS) closed up 0.76% to 118.80 lei.
