Coca Cola HBC hikes capital



Soft-drinks maker Coca Cola HBC Romania has increased its capital by 65.5 million lei, from 247.9 million lei to 313.4 million lei, according to an announcement in the Official Gazette.
The company will thus raise the number of shares from 24.8 million to 31.3 million.

“The company’s share capital (e.n. Coca Cola HBC Romania) is divided into 31,345,189 shares, each at a face value of 10 lei”, the soft-drink maker said.

Coca Cola said recently that its unit case volume in Romania fell in 2009 by 12% to 174.1 million, from 198 million a year earlier.

According to the company, unit case sales fell last year to 2.069 billion from 2.115 billion in 2008. Coca-Cola Hellenic’s revenues dropped 6% in 2008, from €6.98 billion from €6.543 billion.
